Because of your concern... I no longer can drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains.

I no longer drink Pepsi or Dr Pepper since the people who make these products are atheists who refuse to put "Under God" on their cans. I no longer drink anything out of a can because I will get sick from the rat feces and urine.

I no longer use Saran wrap in the microwave because it causes cancer.

I no longer check the coin return on pay phones because I could be pricked with a needle infected with AIDS.

I no longer use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day.

I no longer go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me.

I no longer receive packages from UPS or Fed-Ex since they are actually Al Qaeda in disguise.

I no longer shop at Target since they are French and don't support our American troops.

I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a stupid number for which I will get the phone bill from hell with calls to Jamaica, Uganda, Singapore, and Uzbekistan.

I no longer eat pre-packaged foods because the estrogens they contain will turn me gay.

I no longer eat KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes or feathers.

I no longer date the opposite sex because they will take my kidneys and leave me taking a nap in a bathtub full of ice.

I no longer have any sneakers -- but that will change once I receive my free replacement pair from Nike.

I no longer buy expensive cookies from Neiman Marcus since I now have their recipe.

I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels looking out for me and St. Theresa's novena has granted my every wish.

Thanks to you, I have learned that God only answers my prayers if I forward an e-mail to seven of my friends and make a wish within five minutes.

I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl who is about to die in the hospital.

I no longer have any money at all, but that will change once I receive the $15,000 that Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating in their special e-mail program.

Christmas Cookies ala 'Mexican'

Ingredients
1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila

Prepartaion
Sample 1 level cup of the Cuervo to check the quality. Take a large bowl,check the Cuervo again, to be sure it is still of the highest quality,pour another level cup and drink. Turn on the electric mixer...Beatone cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Remove butter paper wrapperfrom bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar...Beat again. At this point it'sbest to make sure the Cuervo is still OK, try another level cup...just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and addto the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the frigging'fruit off floor... Mix on the turner. (If the fried druit gets stuckin the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver.) Sample theCuervo to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt, orsomething. Who giveshz a sheet. Check the Jose Cuervo. Now shift thelemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar,or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven. Turn the caketin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don't forget to beat off theturner. Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the CoseJuervo and make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.

CHERRY MRISTMAS !!

Hello everyone ,,,,, It's me ,,,, Lupes ,,, I know, long time ,,, no post ,,,, so here it goes ,,,, as some of you might have read/heard ,,,, I had to come back home in the middle of my very exciting trip ,,,, I received a teriffing call from my sister on Friday Nov. 26, requesting for me to return home since my dear grandmother was extremely ill in the hospital ,,, I honestly thought I was not going to see her alive once back to Kali ,,, but God was good to me/us ,,, and left her with us for four more days ,,,, everybody in my family (aunties, uncles and cousins) were able to see her alive (not conscious, but we knew she could hear us) ,,,, the Lord finally called her to his presence on Tuesday November 30, at around 11:25 a.m. ,,,, a painful moment that would not wish to the worse of my enemies ,,,,, nevertheless, we were relieved since we knew that she is in peace and with no more pain EVER ,,, also, I have no doubt in my mind ,,,, that one day I will see her again!!
This past week ,,, has been the longest week ever ,,,,, dealing with her pass ,,,, getting everything ready for the funeral, and the funeral itself ,,,,, she suffered her entire life ,,, physical and emotional ,,,,, but until her last breath, she fought with all her strength ,,,, not sure how long will take me to overcome her lost ,,,, but at this right moment ,,,, my heart hurts ,,,, and not sure if I have her strenght ,,,,, unfortunatly or fortunatly ,,, not sure yet ,,,, life goes on ,,,, I was debating whether to make a post or not ,,,, but in her loving memory ,,, 'Buelita Tila ,,,, la extranare por el resto de mi vida' LA AMO!!!! Rest in peace my beautiful and beloved grandma Tila!!!

I'm way to tired to even start a post ,,,,,, but you'll read about our KRAZY road trip from the other two krazy freaks that were with me ,,,,, and changing topics ,,, can you guys believe that is only less than 12 days to the world cup in Madison ,,, we fly to Chicago on Tuesday evening ,,,, I can't wait ,,, anyhow ,,, I have to go to class tonight ,,, just thought to say hi ,, and hope everybody is doing well ,,, cuz I'm ,,, half way DEAD!! Hey peeps ,,,, yeah I know ,,, it's been a long time since my last post ,,, but honestly ,,, I didn't feel like updating my blog,,,, nevertheless, today was different ,,,, I'm cold and at home and doing nothing ,,,,, so I said to my self,,,,, self why don't you update you blog??? As to what I responded ,,, yeah why not ,,,, and here I am ,,,,,

So where to start ,,,, as you might have read on my last post ,,, I participated in our 4 annual Golf Tournament that benefits directly our scholarship fund and other non profit agencies ,,, I had a blast taking the last place! You read that right ,,, LAST!!! After the tournament, we get this AWESOME lunch ,,,, cooked by our own Matt who is one of our instructor's down in Delano ,,, man ,,, that guy can really cook ,,,,, he cooked the best tri-tip ever!!! There was beer to get drunk for 389748792 weeks ,,, that's when I complainted in front of our CEO ,,,, I reminded him that there was LOST and LOTS of individuals who did not drink beer ,,, for what he responded ,,,"Next year Lupes", (he calls me Lupes too!). Anyhow ,,, here the lovely picture of my team.

Moving on, that weekend I had to finish my first class project for my critical thinking class. I had to watch "To Kill a Mockingbird", which ended up being a great movie. If you have not seen it, I strongly recommend to do so ,,,, but returning to the project ,,,, we had to turn in 5 page essay and present it in front of the class. For the sake of our hard work, we got an "A" and happily concluded the project.

Last Saturday, my sister Julissa and I had nothing better to do ,,,, so we decided to go and donate our money to the nearest casino in the area ,,,,,,, we won ,,, we lost ,,,, we won again ,,, but at the end ,,,, we had enough cash to buy and share a hot dog ,,,,, mmmmm ,,, those HD are the best!!!! So as we headed out to the parking lot ,,,, we saw the Bingo room ,,,,, yeap,,, you guessed right ,,,,, my sister and I had never played Bingo before and decided we would give it a try. You might as yourselves,,,,,how did you do Lupes??? Well,,,, we DIDN'T win ,,, but certainly had a blast ,,,,those games are exciting ,,, cuz they pay good ,,, you buy a package for $18.00 ,,,, it gives you a sheet with 6 different games ,,, you can play up to 7 sheets ,,, which means you could play up to 42 different games in one whole game,,,,those that make sense??? Anyhow ,,, you have to have good eye coordination and of course ,,,, yell as loud as possible when you make BINGO. If you win the game, it pays $1000.00, plus if you are the only winner, they give you a bonus of $199.00 , plus (yeah there is more) if you buy the lucky number for an extra dollar, and you make Bingo with that number ,,, well you could take the jack pot, which starts at $500.00 ,,,, so yeah ,,,,there are 15 different games for $18 bucks ,,,,,, so with a little tiny bit of luck ,,, you can go home with some kind of $$$$$ ,,,,, we left ,,, but totally planning to go again this saturday ,,,,

And last but not least ,,,,, CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS WEATHER???? God ,,, I know rain is a blessing ,,,, specially in this area ,,, but ,,,,, I HEAT RAIN WITH ALL MY HEART!!!!!!!! I cannot stand it ,,,,I heat it, I heat it, I heat it!!!!!!! Ok enough said ,,,,hope everybody is having a good week ,,,, Madison is around the corner ,,, and I'm looking so very forward to spend time with my favorite chicas!!!!! Have a safe Halloween ,,, don't punk you kids, little brothers/sister and/or nephews/nieces candy ,,,, member ,,,,those suckers have tones of calories!!! ;)

Hey peeps ,,, I'm alive ,,,, just a little tiny bit busy ,,, but pretty soon back to regular programming ,,,,, work, school, social life, ect, ect, ect ,,,,,,, getting ready for the ST season ,,,, and of course ,,,, my first time EVER to play GOLF ,,,, yeap peeps ,,,, I'm officially enroll to play golf for our annual Bill McGuy golf tournament ,,, which is always a pleasure to help on this fine event ,,,,, I have taken the day off ,,, and try to enjoy the 'hunk' of men that come down from Stanford ,,,, Sweet Lord ,,, those guys are just way to gorgeous ,,, I have ready my bucket for all the drooling I'll be making in admire those men ,,, gotta work it baby!!!

Had a couple, or three, or four drinks tonight ,,,, we had our annual Oktober Fest in Visalia, TX ,,, and as always ,,,, good wine, food and music ,,,, cheers!!! Anyhow ,,,, I've a busy weekend ahead of me ,,,, a project for one of my classes due next Tuesday ,,, gotta shoot for that A ,,,, kk peeps ,,,, stay cool or warm ,,, it all depends on what part of the planet you live ,,,,, promise I'll post a little bit more often ,,,,, tata!!!!

OH MY SWEET LORD!!!!! Didn't he????? I cannot pass this opportunity to express how many memories came back and made me realized that I'm ,,,,,,,,,,, OLD!!!!!!!!!! Nah! Not really

Seeing Jordan Nathaniel Marcel Knight AGAIN ,,, was just incredibly AMAZING!!! I'm still recovering from the 'thrilling' night we had on Sunday. My voice was totally gone ,,, just for the mere fact that on Saturday we sang like MOFOS on our way from Visalia to LA, then LA to San Diego ,,,,, and Sunday ,,, San Diego to LA, PLUS the real deal ,,,,, having JK in front of me ,,, didn't help either,,,, anyhow ,,, my throat is sword, my abs hurt like I did 4375948375984375984659847593848 abdominals ,,,, but the truth is that they hurt due to SCREAMING my longs, stomach, long and short intestines, pancreas and of course my heart and soul!!!!

As mentioned before, this concert brought back sooo many great and bitter/sweet memories ,,, you have to have in consideration that at that time ,,, I was living in México City ,,,, imagine ,,,, for those of you that lived here, it was a little bit easier than me ,,, why you might ask yourselves??? Well, all the memorabilia ,,,, (ie. magz, dolls, buttons, tapes, concerts, ect, ect, ect) ,,,, I had to suffer double ,,,, cuz it was not easy to find NKOTB stuff ,,,, beside, in México ,,, the Boys Band were not that famous within a big part of the population in my beautiful city ,,,, but I did not give rats ass ,,, and became one of the HUGEST fan ever this group could ever wish they had ,,,, (ok, ok, it makes us two, or three???)!!!! I dressed, danced, ate, slept, drank, walked, snored ,,,, anything that was related to the NK ,,,I did it!!! I new every detail on their lives ,,,,,, I was lucky enough to see them in concert back on January 16th, 1992. It has been one of the best day of my life, but at the same time, since my b'day was 2 days later,,,, that b'day has been the saddest one I've ever had!!! Why you might ask again??? Well, as naive and dreamy one can become as a teenager, my friends and I could swear that we were going to meet the guys face to face ,,, and FINALLY realized that we (my friends and I) were the 'Right Stuff' for them ,,,,,, *bubble bursts AGAIN* that my dear readers ,,,,, of course did not happen *single tear*
Then the separation came along ,,, and we did not hear anything about the NK for a long time ,,,, in 1999 Jordan and Joe recorded their own solo album, which where not the BOOM that NK had in the past ,,,, Donnie opted to act ,,, Jon still deals with panic attacks, but has become a realtor and is doing well,,,, and last and very least (sorry) Danny has his own record firm ,,, last year recorded an album.

But returning to the reason for the season ,,,,, I found out a couple of months back that my favorite kid had recorded a tribute to the very own NKOTB, an co-produced an awesome double CD with NK's most popular jams of the time ,,, peeps ,,,I have two witnesses (Apes and Molls) that the CD is DA BOMB!!! ,,, just hearing those songs again,,,, ahhhhhhh!!! Not only that ,,,, also that he was going to tour around the US ,,, made me think of that gray Saturday morning when my bubble burst ,,,,, at that exact moment ,,, I promised myself that if Jordan would even attempt to come near Kali ,,, I was soooo gonna be there.

Fastforward ,,,,,,,, so here we are ,,,, three grown ass women behind a long line of grown ass women as well ,,,,, getting all giddy and excited with just the thought of seeing on of the five that one day made us dream!! Not only being on of the five ,,, but MY favorite one!!! My God ,,,, what a night ,,,,, once they announced that JK was next to come on stage, the DJ that JK has, introduced him with a remix of NK most famous jams of the late eighties ,,, The right Stuff, Hangin' Tough, My favorite girl, Step by Step, Tonight, My Valentine Girl, My popsicle, If you go away, Baby I believe in you ,,, all these songs in a matter of 2-3 minutes ,,,,the crowed went WILD ,,,, and the three grown ass women ,,,, the WILDEST ever!!! I don't know you guys ,,,, but I get to enjoy my concerts MORE when I know the lyrics to sing along ,,,, have in mind that the entire concert these three grown ass women had heals on ,,,,, but those babies did not impede us to jump as a happy cricket may do!!!
On of the highlights of the night, was when Jordan sang the slow jams and played the keyboards ,,,, SWEET LORD *melts* ,,,, he still has that charming ,,, that's one on the things that I admired the most from Jordan ,,,, the ability to learn to play the piano just by ear ,,, yeap ,,, he is such a talented musician ,,,,, a lucky chick from the audience was able to seat by MY Jordan ,,,, he sang to her ,,, 'Baby I believe in you' ,,,, but get this peeps ,,,, in the portion of the song where it says "every time we kiss" ,,, yes you guessed right ,,,,, he kissed her on the lips ,,,, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!!!! I almost fainted!!! ,,,,,, Now let me tell ya ,,, if I had been the lucky one ,,,, I so would had been all over him ,,,, for Christ sake ,,, it was Jordan Knight ,,,,, I have to confess that I would take JK in a heart beat!!! He is soooooooooo FINE (a couple of lbs., but nothing that a good diet could take away ;) ) and still has the power to melt me!!!!! I swear that all my buried memories just popped up like it the early years. At the end ,,, he sang Hangin' Tough, and You got It (the right stuff) ,,, that's when he danced!!!! Yes ,,, when I saw JORDAN dancing AGAIN ,,,,, we almost lost it right there ,,, but as classy we are ,,, we kept singing and dancing with the former NK lead singer. When he finally got out of us the last scream ,,, he thanked us and blew kisses to the air ,,,,, my stomach sank ,,, but this time of pure excitement ,,,, knowing that next time (because there will be a next time) ,,,,, he is SO MAKING MY DREAMS COME TRUE!!!!
We met these to awesome gurls at the concert, so as the experimented 'stalker' I have become in some other hobby of mine *wink, wink* ,,,, ReaAnn, Kerry and myself went around the building to see if we could glimpse, catch, observe, see, grab, anything on Jordan ,,,, sadly we found out from one of the HOB employees that they have a basement ,,, and most likely ,,,, he had gone through there ,,,,, sooooooo we didn't care and kept looking around ,,,,, we came back to the front of the building ,,,, sat with Molls and Apes for a few ,,,, talked more about our 'experiences' seeing the NK back in the day ,,,, then we had to go our different ways ,,,, the good thing is that RaeAnn was able to sneak a camera into the concert *high five gurl* ,,,, she promised she'll share the goods with us ,,,, girls ,,,, I saw on the JK website that he'll be in Vegas in late October ,,,, do I smell a roadtrip????? ;)

That's how our AMAZING evening concluded ,,,, we went home singing with the little voice we still had ,,,, we had to stop at Molls office just for a sec (Krispy Kremes) tee heee heeee ,,,, j/k ,,,,, and happily we went to bed watching Anchor Man for the 8374293872979 time ,,,,, girls ,,, I'm glad you guys joined me ,,,, cuz ya all know that 'with' or 'without you' I would had gone anyways!!!!! My heart is still warm ,,, and I hope it can be kept like!!!! I'll post some of my fav pics I have found on the net for the past couple of months ....

WTF??? Where did my week go????

WoW ,,,, fer realz peeps ,,, I have plenty to rant about tho ,,, well actually to share ,,,,, starting with the extremely busy Monday I had ,,,,, as you might know ,,, (or not) ,,, I work for a non profit organization called Proteus, Inc. ,,,,, under the adult division ,,, what does this mean, you may ask? Well, it's a long story ,,,,,, so to make it short ,,, I manly do eligibility for 3 different programs that assist our clients with employment services. You might ask again, so you find jobs for people? Mmmmm and my answer is ,,,, NO ,,, we can 'assist' them with job search and/or job leads ,,, but do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT find or have jobs for people ,,,,, see the HUGE difference in between 'have' and 'assist' ,,, anyhow ,,, the reason I'm giving ya and quick overview of what some of the services are is cuz ,,,, again Monday I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo busy ,,, that I hardly had time to sleep ,,,, can you believe that!! For those of who know me a little bit more ,,,,, know that after 8:59 pm ,,,, is bed time ,,,, well not that early ,,, but I like to go to bed no later than 10:00pm ,,,, ya know ,,, it gives me the 8 MANDATORY hrs. of sleep I need!! But returning to my busy schedule on September 13, I had 4 intakes that ran from 8:30 to 12:30 ,,,, meaning that whoever schedule my appointments have never done one of them!!! ,,,,, I did not have a seep of coffee until 11:00 am ,,, and that my dear readers is like HELL on a Monday morning ,,,, I technically was running on 0 (zero) fuel ,,,,, but wait ,,, it does not end here ,,,, after a crazy morning ,,, I had to go to our corporate office to take a 'mandatory' annual survey that all employees have to do ,,,,,, ya know ,,,, to 'improve' our corporation ,,, do you think the CEO is the most handsome man on the face earth ,,,, should we go with blue or pink walls ,,,,, bla, bla, bla,,,, ect, ect, ect ,,,,, have in mind ,,,, that it was near 2:30 pm ,,, and my tummy was growling like a MOFO ,,,,,, I do have to thank God that I had no class that Monday ,,, but instead ,,,, I had the opportunity to be a guess on a local radio station ,,, there was a contest to be a DJ for a day ,,, and this *points to self* lucky MOFO was one of them ,,,, it was a cool experience ,,,, and with that my Monday concluded ,,,,, *woow* see and it was only Monday ,,, after Monday ,,, well it's Friday ,,, where did the rest of my days go???????? I have to add that yesterday (Sept. 16) was a holiday for my company ,,, I still had to go to class at freaken 7:40 am ,,,, but after that ,,, I did absolutely NOTHIN' ,,,, that's what I do best!!!! I'm looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow and Sunday ,,,, I also have to do some cleaning ,,, ya know ,, like to put away the clothes I took two weeks ago to LA ,,, yeah ,,, there are still in my bag ,,,,, also ,,, I'm not sure if I've ever had said this in my Blog ,,, but I'm gonna go next weekend (with God's will) to see one of my favorite guys of all the times ,,,,,,, JORDAN KNIGHT the former lead singer of the legend band of NKOTB aka New Kids On The Block (tee heee heee) ok, ok, boy band ,,,,,, I'm sooooo freaken excited!!!! There are so many things that run through my mind every time I celebrate México's Independence Day!!!! I'm such a proud MEXICAN ,,, and I thank God for allowing me to be one of them!!!! In the past two years and a half ,,, I've met soooooo many people ,,,,, but one of the first ones was my dear and beautiful sista Judie ,,,,, we've met in Seattle for the first time ,,,, and as soon as we saw each other we 'clicked' ,,, ya know ,,,,, that click that only happens when you know it will become a life long friendship!!! In the past two weeks I’ve done EVERYTHING ,,,, well almost ,,,, from moving to my semi-new office in Dinuba (ah, AGAIN!), to Disneyland and Universal Studios (we had a blast!!) this is the last week of my Psych class (thank GOD!!) ,,, and to top it off ,,, I’m going to Vegas this weekend (YEAH baby, YEAH!!!) Pretty cool ha???  Well not really ,,,,, actually this past weekend was the first weekend I spent home since the last week of June ,,,, it was nice to sleep-in on Saturday and Sunday!!

While deleting the unwanted emails and spams from my Ihearttraveling email addy ,,,,, I found a pretty interesting press release from the 163746469741464 emails a day I receive from the Torino 2006 Newsletter ,,,, I’m just gonna cut and past due to laziness:

Something unusual happened today ,,,,, I went to the mall to do some errands ,,,,, and as I way paying for some hair product a the beauty shop ,,,, these kids ,,,,, actually teenagers ,,,,, were chatting with the girls that work at the shop ,,,,, I was wearing my 'Livestrong' wristband and the kids were wearing theirs as well ,,,,, I did not notice them ,,,,, but they did mine ,,,, these kids were like ,,,, 'cool you are wearing your yellow 'Livestrong' bracelet' ,,,, realizing that they had one as well ,,,,, they asked me where I bought it ,,,, and I told them I got them through this link ,,,, and they got theirs at Foot Locker ,,,,,, and that was the entire conversation ,,,,,, my point is ,,,, these kids were so spontaneous in asking and willing to share the same thing we had in common ,,,, a yellow wristband ,,,,, if you did not know, the 'Livestrong' bracelet is Lance Armstrong fund raising ,,,,, he is trying to raise 5 millions for his foundation ,,,,, it's a great cause ,,, and if you want to be 'hip' as me and Apolo (yes, I gave him one) ,,,, go and check out wearyellow.com ,,,,, it feels good to help a little with these types of fundraising ,,,,,, tata

I know that a lot of you come to my blog, to check it out,,,,, (as I do with many of yours ) ,,,maybe get a kick out of it, whine, cry, laugh with/and at me, but the real reason (in my opinion) is to see those great pictures of Apolo ,,,, I know my shit sting as most of yours do ,,, but seriously, my pics are the bomb when it comes to the golden one!!! Unfortunate, my pictures have been used for ‘other’ purposes, and honestly, I’m tired of it. This post will be the last time I ask (Theresa in particular) or (insert name here) that have taken any of my pictures to use them in personal sites and/or blogs. Please, if you take them, at least have the decency to give credit to my effort and sacrifice (tee hee heeee) in taking these pictures ,,,, also please ,,,, DON’T, I repeat, DON’T crop myself out of any of my pics taken with the golden boy ,,,,, I think is extremely rude to do so ,,,, I know that your only interests is Apolo, but there are TONS of pics out there that have been taken of Apolo by himself ,,, use those ,,,, don’t kill (in this case me) the precious moment that for one (me) that particular picture has ,,,,,,,, please correct me if I’m wrong ,,,, in the past 2 ½ years we’ve been following Apolo, we’ve seen amazing shots from so many talented fans that have capture the essence of what Apolo is ,,,, at competitions, appearances, TV shows, ect, ect, ect, ,,,,, I just love typing ect!!! Anyhow ,,,, my point is ,,, there has been times when I have ‘loved’ those pics way too much, that I’ve taken them ,,,, sure, I have them somewhere archived in my hard drive, and the only purpose: to drool, admire, and lust over the beautiful man Apolo is, now from that, to crop out people of amazing shots ,,, NOT COOL ,,,, when we talk about ‘respect’, we have to practicing what we preach ,,,,, I also know, that this community (short track speed skating) is growing, and will grow even more (with God’s will) after Torino 2006 ,,,, as it is, is hard to get along with people of different ages, ethnicities and backgrounds,,,, but certainly, we’ve coped and have respected every bodies opinion ,,,,,, (well almost), but at the end what it counts is that EVERYBODY is entitle to admire anybody in this world ,,,, of course, for me is still hard to understand why ‘certain’ people do things ,,,, but again, that’s just me, I have a very ‘old fashion’ back grown ,,, I’m Hispanic and have very tight roots to my culture ,,,,, but this post is not about my background ,,, I’ll let ya guys know one of this days what the ‘Lupes’ is made of ,,,,, ok I’m making no more sense here ,,,, the purpose of this blog is to entertain, and admire ,,,,, btw ,,, didn’t April did an AWESOME job with my layout??? As much as I'm dying to share the amazing night that my two favorite girls and self had ,,,,, I regret to announce that I will not be posting almost any of my pics ,,,, just for one reason ,,,, I'm tired of those (that includes you 'Amy' or whoever the hell you are) that the only way they can express their frustration, envying, immaturity, and hate is by spilling their poison ,,,, sorry peeps ,,,,, NOBODY did nor will do ruin my AMAZING night!!!!

It is very unfortunate (for those of you who care) that not even in my own blog I can post my pictures ,,, Theresa, please, don't take my pictures, the only place that you might post them, it's at Simply Apolo, giving me credit for them,,,, do not crop my pictures an post them in you personal blog ,,, I think is extremely rude to do what you do with my pictures ,,, I'm also tired of being called 'stalker' ,,,, as far as I'm concern ,,, I paid $250 for an event that was open to the public ,,,,, and as many of you ,,,, the only time that I get so see Apolo is when these types of events and competitions are available ,,,,, STOP the hating ,,,, the opportunities are open to EVERYBODY ,,,, if you don't want to take it ,,, well there is nothing I can do.

Time certainly is flying like there is no tomorrow ,,,, as much as I want for the weekend to be here already ,,,, I wish the week could go a little slower ,,,, I started my day at 4:00 am ,,,, as part of my duties ,,,, we have to do seat belts surveys first thing in the morning ,,, this is my third week ,,, two days out of the week ,,,, I have to start at 4:30 ,,,, since most of the intersections we go to ,,, are like 30-45 minutes away from home ,,,,, the survey consist to survey "X" amount of cars and check if the driver and passengers are using their seat belt ,,,,, some of them are ease to identify ,,,,but most of them are old cars and it's hard to determine whether they are or not wearing one ,,,,, this morning was great tho ,,,, it takes around 30 minutes to complete the survey ,,, but today we did it time record ,,,, 15 minutes ,,,, that means that the intersection was EXTREMELY busy ,,,, last week ,,, one of our intersections was WAY too dead ,,,,, we spend over an hour and concluded that we were not going to get more traffic ,,,,, plus if you add that I also started school ,,,, I'm taking General Psychology ,,,, as part of my general ed ,,,,,, the good thing is that the class is only six weeks long ,,,, plus the 'change' of positions ,,,,, again ,,,, agh!!! I need to start cleaning up my office ,,,,, my desk that is a mess ,,,, and of course change office AGAIN ,,, AGHHHHH!!!

Don't know if you guys 'member ,,,,,, over a year ago ,,, I was devastated (no exaggeration on the word tho) due to me *points to self* transferring to an office 20 minutes away from home ,,,,, lucky enough, I got transferred back to Visalia at the beginning of this year ,,,,unfortunately (for me),,, I'm AGAIN in the spot of making a last minute decision due to my program not being refunded ,,,, that is the only down side in my opinion, for working in a 'non profit' organization ,,,,,, no security in employment ,,,,, anyhow ,,,,, it means no job for me by the end of July ,,,,, well, today I was 'appointed' to a new position ,,,, and guys ,,, you have to agree with me that at this right moment it's a 'bitch' to find a descent job here in Kali ,,, well not only Kali, but the entire US ,,,, well this fool *points to herself again* is letting her selfishness decide against this issue ,,,, I feel flatter and honored to be consider and not only that ,,,, I will have a job and/or at least it will give me stability for this next year ,,,,, it's PERFECT, right??? So you may ask ,,,, what the f*** is wrong with you LUPES???? Yeah, I've ask myself that too!!! I think it's just mayor stupidity and not being a 'grown ass woman' as I'm supposed to be ,,,,,,, but returning to last years issue ,,,, it did devastate me ,,,,, and the only reason was because my 'superiors' (well some of them) accommodated someone else before me ,,,, and that ,,,, that really hurt!!! I know, I know it's been over a year ,,,, but as the fool I am ,,, I have not gotten over yet!!!
The deal with the new position will give me the opportunity to grow within the company,,,,, however ,,, the only thing that is not making it 110% GREAT is that I have AGAIN to move to Dinuba plus go to Tulare ,,,,, ahhhhhhh ,,,, I tell you ,,,, I'm a spoil MOFO and as much as I want to stay with Proteus ,,, I still doubting in taking the position ,,, Am I stupid or WHAT????

I know you are DYING to hear the real deal on Ape's surprise partay Molls and I planned for the past 2 months or so ,, yes you read that right 2 months to surprise our very own little one ,, and we did it ,, of course this could had not been possible WITHOUT the help of Ape's mom ,,, Julie, high five for you awesome job!!!

Chapter 1 - What to do for the Apes B'day??
While enjoying a 'hot chocolate' at a local Starbucks down in LA back in March ,,, on Molls b'day weekend Apes and I spend with her ,,, April got up to go to the ladies room ,,, Molly and I were left alone for a good 3-5 minutes ,,, my mind started spending and an idea popped up ,,, 'what if we do a surprise partay at Apes home town' I told suddenly to the Molls ,,, she replied ,,, 'Lupes that is the most amazing idea you have ever thought' ,,, well she really did not say that ,,, however, I like to think she did so ,,, anyhow ,,, we brain storm on how to surprise the Apes ,,, many ideas were brought to the table ,,, but the surprise partay was the most appropriate ,,, specially since we wanted to include her home town friends and family.

As the freak shows we are ,,, we started the master plan ,,, but we did not have any info on any of her friends and/or family ,,, ohh what to do now??? Fortunate enough, Molly had Apes home number ,,, and that my dear readers was all I needed to execute 'Da Plan'. One afternoon I called Apes' home and her lil sister answered the phone, I kinda told her what we were tying to do for the Apes and she agreed, however, I wanted to talk to Apes mom, at that moment she was not home, but April was ,,, so I just told Aubrey that I would get in touch with her mom and for her to keep it on the LOW. A couple of weeks past by, and on mothers day, I received a call from the Apes on my cell ,,, I answered and what a surprise I had ,,, it was the own and only mother of the Apes hollaing at mua!!! We chatted for a few, let her know what the plan was, and with not hesitation, she was on our side!!!! She took care of the most important thing to do ,,, keep the Apes in town!!! *Phew* So after that it was a piece of cake, all the planning was taken on e-mail. All after, the waiting for the day to come.

I've been talking about 'Da Plan' but have not explained it, ha??? Ok, so the plan was to have a gathering at Ape's favorite restaurant, which is Applebee's (that we know FER sure, right Molls!!??) Of course, we wanted for her friends in Sac to join us and family as well. Manly that was the deal, at the end it did not work that way, but just keep reading and you’ll find out what happened.

Chapter 2 - Liar, liar
You don't know how bad I felt for April when I read her blog on her b'day ,,, she certainly needed a lift of spirit ,,, when I spoke to her on the phone, even her voice sounded bombed ,,, man I wished I could say something encouraging, or at least to keep her alive until the weekend ,,, but all I could say was that I had to work the entire LONG weekend!! DAMMIT!! LIAR X 74857848593485987 ,,, Just part of the plan ,,, and it worked. On the other hand ,,, Molls' endless assistants to her moms at those fun events that we yet to go one of these days ,,, convinced the Apes to spend her b'day weekend by herself. Days later I read at her blog that she wanted to go out of town during the long weekend ,,, and I started freaking out ,,, nevertheless; THANK GOD FOR MOTHERS PERSUASION!!!! Julie e-mailed me stating that she managed to keep Apes in town due to a service they had to attend on Sunday ,,,, so that gave me a sigh of relief ,,, I was soooo anxious for Saturday to be here already.

Chapter 3 - 1st part of the Plan - get to Lupes Place
Molly drove up to my place at time record ,,, she got to my house at 4:30 AM. ,,, ahh yes, you read that right AGAIN!!! ,,, couldn't expect less from her!!!! ,,, She calls me around 11:00 pm. Friday night, and tells me that she was barely getting up from her well deserve nap ,,, that she was going to drive into Visalia in a few ,,, I told her that was cool with me ,,,, she also said ,,, 'Lupes, if you want, just go to bed and as soon as I get there, I'll call you on your cell' ,,, sure enough 5 hrs. later ,,, my phone rang confirming that the Molls was waiting for me to open the door.

The original plan was to surprise April at dinner time ,,, but since we were going to stay only Saturday and Sunday in Sac ,,, we thought that lunch will give us more time with the b'day girl ,,, so we were supposed to leave Visalia around 10:00 am. ,,, the good part was that Molls and I managed to leave my place even before 10:00 am ,,, but what delayed our schedule was the factomatinariportunoctios cake I bought for Apes ,,, the waited was extended for almost an hr. and a half ,,, and paraphrasing Molls words 'That damn cake is worth the waiting' ,,, finally the 'contact' brought in the factomatinarioportunoctios cake out of the trunk (j/k) and us in our marry way to Sac. Oh, but wait ,,, do you think the 4:30 am arrival and cake delay was hilarious???? Keep reading ,,, if you are Mexican, you know that when you buy anything 'homemade', you are lucky if the tray, container, or whatever you buy is included with the food and/or dessert, as a typical cake maker, she was entitled to bring the cake ,,, don't even think a box will be provided ,,, so here we are Molly and myself carrying the cake back and forth ,,, and there was NO way in this crazy world that I was going to hold that baby for 3 hrs. on my hands ,,, so what to do??? We needed to go to a bakery and buy a box ,,, we hit it to nearest Save Mart and went straight to the bakery section, asked politely for a box to be sold for our beautiful cake ,,, the ladies was like 'sure, let me ask how much it cost' ,,, she calls a second lady ,,, this one starts searching for the price ,,, after a few ,,, she tells us that she is not ALLOWED to sell their supplies ,,, I could see Molls eyes rolling over ala 'exorcist' ,,, we asked ourselves ,,, why selves, why??? Why 'Mexican cake makers' don't provide boxes for the factomatinarioportunoctios cake!!! ,,, After having our moment ,,, we went up to one of the employees that was 'pretending' to work (tee heee hee j/k) ,,, once again, we explained our situation ,,, and kind enough he went back to the warehouse to look up a box for our cake ,,, he comes out with the 'perfect' size ,,, we almost kissed the guy and left to continue our odyssey ,,, ohhh ,,, this does not end here ,,, Molls had the greatest idea on what to get April as a present ,,, she suggested to get a bouquet of flowers and put some gift card in between flowers ,,, we were going to put those gift cards on 'card holders' that these type of arrangements come with ,,, so here we are now at the flower section ,,, with our kick ass box for the cake ,,, Molls searched through the flowers ,,, and finds the perfect floral arrangement ,,,, she looks around for the card holders and realizes that there are NO extra card holders to take with us ,,, so what does ghetto Lupe do??? Well ,,, starts taking 'others' arrangements card holders and putting them inside the kick ass box ,,, perfect, I said to myself ,,, as Molls rushed to the register to pay for the beautiful arrangement ,,, I was waiting for her at the end of the register with our kick ass box for our cake and our 'borrowed' card holders I had inside the box ,,, and as a moron one can be ,,, the stupid kick ass box slips off my hands ,,, and ,,, yes ,,, the card holders fell off the kick ass box as well ,,, as 'classy' as I am ,,,, I got down ,,, picked up the card holders, put them back inside the kick ass box ,,, waited for Molls to sign the receipt ,,, and as soon as she walked towards me ,,, we busted in laughter ,,, yes all this fun and it was not even noon yet ,,, funny ,,, yeah that's what I thought so!!!!

Chapter 4 - 99 North - Our marry way to Sac
While driving on 99 North to Sac ,,, we saw so many interesting people, animals, cemeteries and many other 'unusual' scenarios ,,, everything went well ,,, until we got to Sac ,,, I swear to God that every time I go to Sac, I get confused with the 80 business and the I 80 ,,, sweet Lord, what's wrong with me??!!?? Molls was all cool driving back and forth on one of the eighties (can't 'member which one anymore!!) ,,, when we thought that we were on the right track ,,, we realized that Reno was ahead of us ,,, we got back on the other side of I 80 ,,, drove into town AGAIN ,,, and finally got to our destination ,,, we arrived to Apes place ,,, mmmm around 5:00 pm. ,,, the Apes comes down the stairs and sees us in confusion and loopiest <----Is that even a word??? She really was surprised ,,, which was the intention ,,, we hugged her, sang happy b'day and hit it to Buca's ,,, cuz da Molls and da myself were STARVING to dead ,,, the rest ,,, you read it already ,,, if not read right HERE.

Chapter 5 - Da End
I tell you ,,, those two crazy mofos ,,, wait a minute ,,, I think this time Molls and myself were the crazy mofos ,,, anyhow ,,, those two have become very close friends to me ,,, and as we spend time together ,,, I learn and share special and not that special moments in their lives ,,, thank you MOFOS for being who you are ,,, I'm looking forward to MANY insane trips like this past weekend ,,,

Well, if you want to learn if you city is as bad as mine ,,,, and or wondering why in the HELL our air is sooooo contaminated ,,,, read on ,,,, it's sooo common to me tho ,,, coming from the MOST polluted city in this world MEXICO city <------ the most BEAUTIFUL btw ,,,,, living in the Central Valley is like breathing Mexico City's air ,,,,, yeap ,,,, at this point ,,, not sure which of the two cities are worse ,,, Mexico's contamination is more due to car pollution and factories that have been contaminating the city for years ,,,, but here in the valley ,,,, most of the comtaminations is due to pestisides ,,,,, what do you think ,,,, is it bad or worse ??? WOW ,,, sorry peeps for not updating this little world of mine lately ,,, but kinda been busy ,,,, and out of town ,,, and busy ,,, and lazy ,,, but today is the day ,,,, yeah ,,, I'll let ya know exactly what the delio was this past weekend down in LA with my two favorite short track speed skating chicks of KALI ,,,,, so here I go ...

... Ape's and myself arrived to LA around 9:00 pm on Wednesday ,,,,, at that point I didn't care about whether to watch what I was putting in my mouth ,,,, nop ,,, I technically did not eat the cat ,,, cues Molls does not have one ,,, but her neighbor has a BIG fat cat ,,, very cute too ,,,,, anyhow ,,,, we went to eat at Norms < ---- I think that's what is called ,,,, we chatted like for 34346542313.251 hrs. and hit it back to her place ,,,,, let me tell ya one thing ,,, when you are at Molly's ,,,, going to bed DOES not mean going to SLEEP ,,,,, nop ,,,,, we laid ,,,, but did not shut up our mouths ,,,, which were running about 33466266613 words per SECOND ,,,, yes you read that right SECOND!!!! We mofos can really talk for HRS. just because at some point ,,, all of us were more asleep than awake ,,,, but if not for that ,,,, we could had gone for days!!!! ,,,,, to bad there are not enough hrs. in the day to sleep less and talk more ,,,,

Thursday 9:10 am.
Ahh ,,, Molls was 'supposed' to go to work ,,, but as the kick ass Manager she is ,,,, decided at the last minute to make a vist to the other branches ,,, and ended up going to the 'heritage' ,,, sweet LAWRD!!!! That place is the BOMB!!! We had our very well deserved meal of the afternoon ,,,, as part of the 'ritual' we have had in the past two visits ,,, we went to the very own 'Del Amo Swap Meet' ,,,,, to do our toes and nails ,,,, man that 'spa' pedicure ,,,,, is very relaxing ,,,, well at least to me ,,,,, it relaxes me to the point that I want to go to sleep ,,,,, after our well deserve pedi and mani ,,,, we made a visit to IKEA ,,,,,, gotta love that store ,,,, we found a couple of good delios ,,,,, go them into Molls trunk ,,, and hit it back to her place to cook dinner ,,,, that's when I got all 'Mexican Chef' wanna be and prepared a pretty decent rice ,,,, they call it Spanish Rice ,,, which is not ,,, cuz Spanish refers to Spain ,,, so I just call it 'Mexican rice' ,,,,,, ya know ,,, just for the heck of it ,,,,, some Mole ,,,, which had to be dissolved in chicken broth ,,,, and last but not least ,,,, the tortillas ,,,, which were not home made ,,,, but I also can make tortillas ,,, YES ,,,, I'm a grown ass woman ,,, according to Molly ,,,,, we pigged out ,,,, to the point that we had to go for a walk to a near by park to Molls home ,,,, we took the hoppsie (?)<---- Molls new car ,,,,yes a nice '87 Astro Van '90 Ford Aerostar that makes a noice when you back up ,,,,,, and has a detachable stereo system ,,,,, impressed??? ,,,,, came back ,,,, went to BED ,,,,, felt asleep right away ,,,,

Friday 8:15 am ......
Ok so we decided that on Friday we were going to Universal Studios Hollywood ,,, so the plan was for Molly to stop by her office and take care of some business ,,,, later on that morning Apes and myself found out that her office is the 'Krispy Cream' right off the freeway ,,,, we got a dozen of 'VERY COLD' glaze doughnuts ,,, and left to USH ,,,,, she turn purple when savoring a doughnut ,,,, realized that they were NOT hot ,,, had her moment ,,,, got over it ,,,, and there we went ,,,,,,, at the park ,,,, we met Shrek, Princess Fiona, DORA, we took the Tour ,,, and if you have not read Molls and/or Apes blog ,,, go, go ,,, it'll tell ya about our kick ass guide tour ,,,, Thurman ,,,, nice man ,,,,, we eat some chicken since the Molls and the Apes had one cold doughnut and a cup of coffee in their stomach and it was way over lunch time ,,,,, we got all wet at the Jurassic park the ride ,,, but not our beloved Molls ,,,, since she had invested in what according to her was 'the investment' of the hour ,,,, a 'poncho' which enabled her to get all socked wet like some other morons behind us ,,,,, tee heee ,,,,, as we were hitting to the ladies room ,,, this gentleman walked up to us ,,, asking if we would kind enough take a survey and not only that ,,, if we would invest a couple of our minutes to their 'food' tasting survey ,,, he was going to give us $10.00 ,,, yes TEN USA DOLLARS ,,, well at the end it was Universal Dollars ,,, but they bought food for me ,,,, anyhow ,,, here is one of the highlights of the day ,,,,,, we were asked to taste a 'Betty Crocker'whipped frosting ,,,, Iced Vanilla if not mistaking ,,, on a Devil's Food cake ,,,, mmmmm ,,,, but get this ,,, the samplers were ,,,, a 10" diameter cake on which the frosting had to be 'spread' ,,,,, the 'food preparation tec' told us that we had to spread the frosting with the 'spatula',,,, cut a piece with the 'knife' and take at least 3 bites ,,,,,, we were going to 'evaluate' the frosting, not the cake ,,,, well I ate a 1/4 of it ,,, and continued the survey ,,,,,, over all it was smooth, good texture, and a little too sweet in my opinion ,,,, but I guess that was the purpose of it ,,,,, finally concluded the survey ,,,, and walked away with $10.00 Universal Studios Dollars ,,,,, before leaving the park, we grabbed some dinner ,,,,, some coffee ,,, concluding our day at Molls and totally EXHAUSTED from the very heckted and enjoyable Friday ,,,,,,

Saturday ,,,,, 3 days and counting ...
So you thought that I did all the cooking while at Molls ,,,, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ,,,, our very own host ,,,,, got up around ,,,, mmmmm ,,,,,, lets leave it early considering ,,,,, and cooked breakfast for all of us ,,,, eggs, sausage, bacon, rice, tortillas, guacamole, toast, juice, coffee, man ,,,, and then you wonder why those pants don't fit by the end of the day ,,,,, 'phew' ,,,, later on ,,,, we baked some cookies and tres leches cake ,,,, which btw did not come out the way it supposed to ,,,, sorry guys ,,,,, I tried ,,, but next time ,,, cuz there will be a next time ,,,right??? Next time I PROMISE it will be the right way ,,,,, we also baked some cookies and by mid afternoon ,,,, we decided we needed to go a visit the local Walmart ,,,, since it has become a ritual every time we get together ,,,,,, had some Japanese food ,,, ya know the typical Kali, salmon/cream cheese, and avocado rolls ,,,,, they were pretty good ,,,,, wassabi (?) ,,,, WAYYYYYYY to strong and spicy ,,,,, after our well deserved dinner ,,,, we wanted to go and release some stress ,,,, and no ,,,, the ladies room was not the place ,,, but 'Suave' the night club where is easy to distress by hitting the dance floor for a couple of hrs. ,,,,,,

Sunday ,,,, home ,,, ET phone home ,,,
Now ,,, Sunday is the day to sleep in and it does not matter what time you get up ,,,, it was SUNDAY ,,,, God bless Sunday ,,,, we got up, started packing, but before we left ,,,, we went to the Mall ,,,, where btw saw our own and very own Jan ,,,, she was leaving the place so we only could give her a quick hug and with the wind ,,, she went ,,,,, we ate at California Pizza Kitchen ,,,,, zoomed in and out of the Mall ,,,,, got our well needed Starbucks IV for the day ,,,,, and parted happily to our destinations ,,,, I was gonna say 'final' destination ,,, but luckily it was just home ,,,,

Spending time with these gals is like a box of chocolate ,,,, ya never know whatcha gonna get!!!! ,,,,, sorry for the plagiarism I just did ,,,, but it's true ,,,, these visits/reunions are so off the hook that we look forward for the next one ,,,, which probably will not be soon ,,, due to Molls having a very, very, very, very busy schedule ahead of her ,,,,,, hey Molls ,,, can you send me a copy of you house keys before you leave to Seattle and Australia??? So yeah ,,,, I went dancing last night with my friends and sisters ,,, and got home around 3:00 am ,,,, as most of you know I'm not a 'night' nor 'morning' person ,,,, meaning that I LOVE to sleep ,,,, well the only little disadvantage I had was that I had to work today ,,,, I had to be in Fresno at 9:00 in the freaken morning to set up my booth ,,,,,, I set my alarm for 7:30 a.m. ,,,, I took off around 8:15 a.m. ,,,, got to Fresno around 9:10 and our rep was freaking out cuz I was not set up yet ,,,, she was like 'I thought you guys were not coming' myself answered ,,,, why did you think that? And she gave me that 'dare' look ,,,, 'well you were supposed to be here at 9:00' ,,,, so I looked my watch and it was 9:15 ,,,, I told the rep ,,,, 'but is barely 9:15' ,,,,, she looked at me and said ,,,, 'NO is 10:15' ,,,, then it click me,,,, as a totally moron I get to be sometimes ,,,, yeah ,,, I forgot to forward my alarm clock ,,,, ahhhhhhh ,,,,, at the same time tho ,,, it worked to my advantage ,,,, cuz the event was schedule to start at 11:00 am ,,,,,, anyhow ,,,, the event was good ,,,, not as much people as I thought ,,,, but still a good turn out ,,,,,, I have to tell ya a secrete ,,,, I met Ronald McDonald and guess what???? HE SPEAKS SPANISH!!!!!! Tee hee heee ,,,,,, the guy was sooo cool that even took a pic with me ,,,,,, I also felt like 'Rusty Smith' for a couple of hrs. cuz Home Depot was one of the business that had a booth at the event ,,,,,, and was giving flowers and aprons to the 'kids' ,,,, but as the 'BIG kid' I am ,,,, I got away with my Apron and got an awesome shot as well ,,,,,, got home around 6:00 pm ,,,, napped for about 45 minutes and went to mass since today is Palm Sunday ,,,, which reminds me ,,,,,, ONLY 6 DAYS TO TASTE A DROP OF CAFE!!!!!! ,,,,,,,, :)

I don't even want to comment on that 'fiasco' Short Track coverage ,,,, it was totally a joke ,,,,,, of course ,,,, Apolo looking all HOT as always ,,,, that was the only worth piece of coverage that saved the transmission ,,,,,, I even was disappointed that I did not get to see non of the FANS that were there to support the USA team and other fans as well ,,,, I'm glad they did not show any of Rusty's incident ,,,,, but definitely would had love if ABC had covered more of the skaters ,,,, don't get me wrong ,,,,, I loved all of Apolo's segments ,,,, but at least they could had talked about the girls a little as well ,,,,,, *sigh* ,,,, anyhow ,,,, I'm EXTREMELY tired ,,, ready for bed ,,,, stay cool ,,,,,, tata

Hmmmm ,,, well there is not much going on in my life ,,, as a matter of fact ,,, this weeks has been sooooo long ,,,, I'm dragging ,,,, anyhow ,,, as you might have read in Molly's and/or Ape's blogs ,,,, we had an AWESOME weekend in L.A. ,,, from IHOP to Red Lobster to the Heritage <---OMG ,,, the best food ever to the Swap Meet to L'Opera and Ruby's and could not leave out our beloved Starbucks ,,,, it seems that the only thing we did was eating ,,,, well kinda ,,,,, but I'm not gonna repeat what my two beautiful sistas have written in their respective blogs ,,, so if you want to know our adventure during our weekend ,,, please click HEREor HERE ,,,, I will be posting some pics tho ,,,, specially one that I think is Marvelous ,,,, us five chicks looking 'FABULOUS' at L'Opera ,,,,,, also a pic that my girl Tasha took of me and the Rusters in CLE ,,, soo cute ,,,, over the weekend we discovered that I have some kick ASS pics that I did not even remember taking ,,,,, so stay tuned cuz they are really good shots ,,,,, btw ,,,, lent is almost over (THANK GOD) and since I'm Catholic, I gave up as a sacrifice (what a sacrifice) my favorite beverages ,,,, which are COFFEE and ALCOHOL <--- only over the weekends ,,,,, anyhow ,,, I'm gonna start a count down until Easter Sunday which is the day I will be able to drink them AGAIN ,,,, *phew* ,,,,stay cool cuz the heat its increasing ,,,, uhhhh ,,,,,,, till next time (tomorrow) ,,, tata

As you might have heard our dear Rusty Smith suffered an injury today (yesterday) in Sweden ,,,, I just want to dedicate this little post to extend my best wishes and prayers to the Rustors. May the Lord grant you a prompt recuperation, and have you skating in time record. XOXOXOXOXO to you Rusty ,,,, we'll be waiting patiently for you to come home!!!!!

...at the end it was all about APOLO!!

Well peeps ,,,, so much to say ,,,, but one thing fer sure is that Nationals has been one of the most exciting events I've ever attended! From having the 'flights' from hell to Apolo posing with us with our AMAZING hoodies ,,,,,,, just priceless. I'll start from the beginning, so grab some munchies and enjoy the read.

I was supposed to arrive to Cleveland on Thursday around 8:00 a.m., but as you might have heard, Kalifornia's weather was out of control that week. Well, unfortunate (for me of course) my flight from Fresno to San Frans was cancelled at the last minute. It seemed that I was NEVER gonna leave Fresno. Fortunate enough, the people from United and NWA worked with me. They re-routed me through LAX (which was my first choice from the beginning) and got to CLE around 10:00 pm. But wait, do you thing that's all, well not really. My first connection was LAX to Memphis, TN and the Memphis to CLE ,,, well just because the LORD is soooo good to me, I was able to make the last connection, I ran like there was no tomorrow, made my connection, but my luggage was not lucky enough. I got my bag on Friday and that was the end of my flight from hell. Phew, just to think about it ,,,, makes me want to barf.

Ok so, first day of competition, as always Apolo gracious and beautiful to watch skate. Peeps, let me just say that National are as exciting as International Cups, just for the mare reason that we want all of our skaters to place 1st, and here, well is just hard to watch how good most of them are, but for split seconds,,, they don't make it to the final. Apolo looked very calm and ready to skate his heart out. On the ladies said, what can I say, Huy Jung aka 'Halie' my God, that girl ,,,,, I hate to say it, but she'll start bringing some medals to the USA women team. Don't get me wrong, Caroline was amazing as always, and Maria has improved a lot as well, but Halie is just a natural, kind of like Apolo. So, first day went by, as good 'enthusiast' we waited patiently for Apolo to come out ,,,, to see the result ,,,, please refer to the post prior to this one ,,,,, that image says more that 1000000000 X 485849999 words.
We thanked him and left.

Second day, hmmmm the controversy day ,,,,, well 500 races are soooo exciting by nature ,,,, but to see Apolo and Rusty to go at it ,,,, can it get better!!!!! I'm not a Short Track Speed Skating 'expert' and not trying to become one ,,,, but on my opinion ,,,, and I swear I'm being very NEUTRAL ,,,, that 500 was a clean race ,,,,, now lets have in consideration that I was watching the race from the side ,,,,, so maybe the peeps that saw it from the front, had a different perspective ,,,,, now did Rusturs had to go and wash the dirty laundry in front of the media ,,,, in my opinion he should have not ,,,,, but as an out spoken person he is ,,,, well you know what he said. On Saturday I was able to give Apolo the hoodie ,,,,, he was signing autograph when I called him like 384692747 to get his attention ,,,, all of the sudden ,,,,, the annoying guy ,,,,, ya know the 'short track speed skater expert' told me that I might had to refer to him as Mr. Ohno ,,,, on which I responded with a 'NO' ,,,, kept calling Apolo until he turn to my way ,,,, told him I had something for him ,,,, and with that kind smile he has, said "for me",,,, I nodded my head affirming ,,,, he ask me to throw it to him ,,,,, he opened up and thank us for the gift ,,,, April was EXTREMELY thrilled that the golden one like the hoodie ,,,, who wouldn't ,,,, that baby is off the hook!!! We did not stay till the end ,,,, instead we found a Starbucks and got us a nice treat from our favorite place ,,,,,,, later on that night, we learned that Apolo came out to great fans as always ,,,,, and also asked some of our girls if they were gonna attend the last day of competition ,,,,, which of course,,,, our girls responded to a very positive and enthusiast YES ,,,,, is he the best or WHAT!!!

Third day of competition ,,,, well as every competition ,,, you don't want them to end up ,,,,, but Sunday is always an excited day ,,,,, you have the 1000, the 3000 and the relays ,,,, which amazes me for the enormously strength these athletes have to have to complete the races,,,,, but let me tell ya ,,,,, or actually ,,,,, I'm pretty sure you heard that Halie stole our hearts ,,, not just because she won both the 1000 and 3000, I think she got second place with her relay team ,,,, but the most exciting part was when Rusty brought her back to the ice to compete with the guys ,,,,,, she is sooooo natural ,,,,, anyhow ,,,, when Apolo learned Halie was going to be in Ruster's team ,,,, he busted in laughter ,,,,,,, yeah Apolo ,,,, Halie will give you some competition so get used to her!!!! The entire rink was screaming from the top of their - our lungs ,,,, and every time we had a chance we chanted Halie's name ,,,,, at the end ,,,,, her team; therefore, Rusty's team got second place ,,,, it was awesome ,,,,,, that was the highlight of the day ,,,, maybe even the highlight of the entire competition!!! Oh but wait ,,,,,, there is more ,,,,, according to our good friend Rusty Smith - 500 m Bronze Medalist (teee heee heee) Halie skated NOTHING compare to what she really can skate!!! It was no surprise to me ,,,, considering that this was Halie's first competition ,,,,, incredible!!! We went through the entire award ceremony ,,,,, which was very, very, very LONG!!!! At the end of everything ,,,,, the USA team posed for our cameras ,,,, and shortly after ,,,, some of the fans had the opportunity to take a pic with them ,,,,, most of them were young kids ,,,,, I took my extra Nike poster for him to sign it ,,,,, I asked him to autograph the postr,,,,, which was going to be donated to Zoutou ,,,, and as gracious as he is ,,,,, happily accepted ,,,,, I asked him if he could write something like "thank you for supporting Zoutou" or something like that ,,,, and certainly wrote that ,,,, left the Zoutou out ,,,, but still wrote some words ,,,,, I think this is the first time I see Apolo write and entire sentence ,,,, tee hee ,,,,,,, I thanked him and left.
We chilled at the rink's lobby were we had the opportunity to congratulate many of the skaters ,,,, in some point ,,,, Rusty came out asking for a ride to the airport ,,,, and with no hesitation I offered the ride ,,,,,, as relax and coolio Rusty is ,,,,, he appreciated the ride we offered ,,,,,,, meanwhile ,,,,, we had the chance to talk to Joanne ,,,, Caroline's mom ,,,, she is such an interesting person to talk to ,,,, our chat was just delight ,,,,, once Caroline came out ,,,, we chatted a little bit with her as well ,,,,, but let me tell ya ,,,, that Caroline had her own 'corner' of fans ,,,, Joanne told us that the club dared Caroline to point at them if she won the competitor ,,,, which she did ,,,, but the coolest thing ,,,, was when her skating club stood up and did the 'Standing O' ,,,,, lovely ,,,,, Caroline even did a 'Standing O' on top of the podium on Saturday ,,,,,,, they still have a tough time trying to understand why we (fans) follow short track ,,,,, I guess she couldn't believe that people were really paying $$$$$ (and lots of them) to see ST ,,,,, Caroline asked us what we did for a living ,,,,,, not until then ,,,,,, I guess she realized that we were NO rich, spoiled brats that have easy money ,,,,, she stressed how expensive ST can become ,,,, for what we certainly agreed with her.
At that time ,,,, Apolo came out of doing his anti-doping ,,,,,, he was caring a box or something ,,,,, when he saw us ,,,, said that he had worn his hoodie for his warm-up that morning ,,,, for which I responded that we did not see him ,,,,,,, he insisted he did ,,,, for which I asked him if he could go put it back and come out to take a pic with us ,,,,, and the rest ,,,,, ya know how cute we all looked with those hoodies!!!!! After the pic ,,,,, we thanked him 38452093740974 X 0340273427 ,,,,, and with a warm hug ,,,, we concluded an OUTSTANDING well balanced weekend!!!!
Minutes later, Rusty came out looking for his ride (who were us of course) ,,,,, Rusty is sooooo Rusty and I thank God for having such a great guy representing the USA as a Short Track Speed Skater ,,,, for those of you that have had the opportunity to talk to Rusty know what I mean ,,,,, if you haven't ,,,,, please do so ,,,, he is soooooo easy to talk to!!! We joked around ,,,,, got a different route to the airport ,,,, but a the end ,,,, we were able to deliver the Rustinator in one piece to the car rental's place. He had to drive to Michigan since he was meeting someone there. We all got off the car ,,,, thanked him ,,,, he thanked us ,,,,, he loved our hoodies as well ,,,,, so had no choice but to turn it in to him ,,,,, I asked if he minded ,,,, he said 'NO' ,,,, so he went on with all his equipment and a hoddie. We got back to the hotel ,,,, grab some dinner and as unique 'Uncle Kimo' is ,,,,, he introduced all of his fellow club members to us ,,,, these kids are ADORABLE ,,,,, they came into Julia's room to say hi and us as big fans of STSS ,,,, we gave them a rand of applause to most of them ,,,, since a couple of kids from Kali got the overall title of their category ,,,,, we kicked it for most of the night at Julia's and Sooz 'Oscar Party' ,,,,, let me tell ya ,,,, Tatie is the best host ever!!!! Even though I couldn't drink (alcohol) ,,,, she had sodas, water, munchies ,,,,,, everything ,,,, and it was fun seeing how LOTR whipped everything!!!!

With much sadness ,,,, we had to depart on Monday ,,,, all of us had different flights with different airlines ,,,,, Molly and Tiasha were the first to leave ,,, April and myself had an later flight ,,,,, so we dropped them off at the airport ,,,, and Apes and myself got back to the hotel to finish packing up our stuff. On our way to check out, Tatie was at the lobby and we chatted for a little while ,,,, we hugged each other ,,,, and with many memories ,,,, Apes and myself parted to the drop off the car, and then to our respective gates to wait for our flights. We got a glimpse of Apolo and Allison at airport ,,,, but not sure which airline they were flying with ,,,, not mine for sure ,,,, everything seemed going on scheduled ,,,, which at least with my flights this time did ,,,,, but guess what??? As you might have read ,,,,, a lot of people got sick in CLE due to food poisoning ,,,, well call it what you want ,,,, but on my flight from Detroit to LA ,,,, I got soooo sick on the plane that I swear to God that I felt I was going to faint ,,,,,, I sweated like a pig ,,,,, luckily enough, after a little while ,,,,, I felt asleep for the rest of the flight ,,,,, did not make my connection to Fresno ,,,, so had to wait for the 8:20 pm flight ,,,,,, came back to Kali with the same weather ,,,,, raining, raining ,,, and did I mention rain ,,,, ok ,,,, got me some tea ,,,, waited for my flight ,,,,,, flew to Fresno on a nasty storm ,,,,, thank God landed and my parents were waiting for me at the International Yosemite Airport aka FAT ,,,,,, and that my friends, readers and lurkers was my exciting weekend in Cleveland.

I want to thank the academy for this trip,,,,,, tee hee hee j/k ,,,,, I want to thank my sistas for rooming with me at the last minute ;) ,,,,, those girls can talk for HRS. ,,,, and when I say HRS. ,,,, yes HRS. ,,,,, I think that is the beauty of our friendship ,,,,, love ya girls!!!! To Anita ,,,, girl you kick ASS big time ,,,, those VIP seat were the BOMB!!! To Tatie and Julia for hosting the 'Oscar Party' ,,,, you ladies better have the best time in Gothenburg!!! To Tiasha ,,,, girl ,,, you are our super HERO ,,, those pic you took of Apolo with the hoodie ,,,,, God bless your camera ,,, btw ,,,, NICE camera sis!!! To Jennie, Mel, Janie, any body cares for a cha cha cha chia!!!! Ohhh sweet Lord ,,,, the rest of my fellow STSS peeps ,,,, it was good seeing you again and meeting you for the first time ,,,,,, the ones that could not make it ,,,, you guys were missed as well!!!!!!! and for last but not least ,,,,, The Skaters ,,,, Apolo, thanks for being so kind, so inspiring and sooooo leading us to become a better fan ,,,, does that make sense???? ,,, I hope cuz I'm tired and will like to post this encounter ASAP ,,,, Rusty ,,,, dude you are the best ever in the world!!!! ,,,,, What would STSS world do without ya??!!
