Thank you sooooo much for your wishes, cards, presents and the best of all ,,,, thanks to my girls for living la vida loca ,,,, wait ,,,, sorry that was last year ;) ,,,,, thanks for living the 'simple life' with me this past weekend!! My girl April came down from Sac to spend an awesome loooong weekend with me ,,,, and Molls ,,,, well the Molla after 'cha-chinging' in Las Vegas came down on Monday and spent several hrs. with us ,,,, so yes ,,,, the 3 Kali girls gathered for an awesome weekend ,,,, thanks Apes ya know I love ya and you will succeed with your plans ,,,,,, keep up the GREAT work ,,,,, and bring on that gear!!! Molls ,,,, my very first sista in Apolo ,,,,, love ya too!!!! I'm glad you were able to join us yesterday ,,,,, we didn't get to go skating ,,,,but we'll do some day ,,,,, again thanks to everybody and I certainly will see ya all soon!!!

WOW ,,,, this year just flew!!!!! I still cannot believe all the wonderful events and people I met!! I will be doing a recap on the most memorable moments of my life for this 2003 that is leaving us.

January
- Met with Melinda in San Diego afterwards, we were lucky to meet Rusty Smith at the Lakewood Ice Rink and skated with him.
- Attended the taping for H2 in LA ,,,, as always Apolo was kind enough to stop and take a pic with the fans!!


February
-The event of the year (at that time of course) World Cup #5 in SLC ,,,, lots of new faces and lots of new friendships!!!



March
-Mmmmmm I think I started planning my trip to Marquette ,,,, is never to early to start planning ,,, right???

April
-Attended the Banquet Award Event-closing season for Speed Skating 2002-2003 and met many skaters that were inducted that night to the SS hall of fame.
-Went to Disneyland with my two girls and sisters. *click, click with my thumbs*.



May
-Went to San Francisco and then hit it to Sac for the annual WAFA conference, also met with my girl April ,,,,, too bad we did not take a pic.

June
-Oh June, attended the luau sponsored by Always Dream foundation of Kristy Yamaguchi and the best part is that Apolo came to table 12 and kick it with us for 1 1/2 hrs. ,,,, was that cool or what???? Anyhow, Anton was the star of the night ,,,,, no doubt about that!!!!!!
-Went to Lake Tahoe and came back home $80 richer ,,,,, damn those casinos!!!


July
-Mmmmmmmm ,,,, damn hot summer!!!!!!

August
-Went to the State Fair in Sac ,,,,, wew ,,,, not fun with that heat of August.

September
- Last minute details for my trips to Calgary and Marquette.

October
-October was the month of the year ,,,, one week before WC I, I went to see in concert one of my favorite singers, Luis Miguel ,,,, he is just outstanding!!!
- Finally the best events (so far) of the year, took place in Calgary, Ca and Marquette, MI. World cups I & II ,,,,, I spent 11 days away from home ,,,, dear God is it February yet????





November
- Mmmmmm ,,,,, beginning of the Xmas season ,,,,, and planning National World Cup Championship's trip.

December
- Went to VEGAS and started day dreaming about the World Cup that apparently will be taking place next season ,,,,, sweet ,,,,,, very sweet!!!

I can't wait for the next year to be here ,,,,, many reasons ,,,,,, I'm moving back to the Visalia office and in February ,,,,well we all know what will happen in February ,,,,, happy new year ,,,,, CHEERS!!!!! for the year that promises to bring many good things!!!!!!

So Yesterday, so yesterday .......

Well is sooooooo yesterday since I posted ,,,,, not much going on with my boring life ,,,,, I'm at work, but will go to my grandma's to eat TAMALES!!! Mmmmm,,,,anybody cares for a tamal????? I just want to wish ya all a Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Xmas ,,,,, if you been good ,,,,, then Santa will definitely bring ya something ,,,,,, I know you wish he would bring ya some QT1 that lives in CS ,,,, but I think he is taken ,,,, or at least he's been pretty popular since last Xmas ,,,,, I did ask for him last year ,,, but Santa had dropped him someplace near his natal Seattle ,,,,, oh well ,,,,maybe this year I will close my eyes when I wish for him ,,,, hmmmmm,,,,,,anyhow ,,,,I'm ready to enjoy the rest of the year ,,, oh and one more thing ,,,,, 'member a couple of months back I was moved from Visalia's office to the Dinuba one??? ,,,, You 'member ,,,, right??? Well the girl that was stationed in Visalia got another job and guess who asked to be transferred back??? Well you guessed right ,,, Merry Xmas to me!!!! I'm very happy that I'm going back HOME ,,,, yes ,,,, my co-workers are my second family and believe guys ,,,, I'm very happy that I'm going back!!!!!
Enough said ,,,, oh wait ,,,, Molls ,,,,, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON WITH YA???? Please people ,,,, don't kill yourself over shopping ,,,, there will be tons and tons of sales after the fact ,,,,, just to think about it makes me want to throw up ,,,,,, thank God I'm buying NOTHING for my family ,,,,,,, we all agreed that we did not need to give anybody nothing ,,,,, we actually had a great weekend in Vegas ,,,, and we all are a happy family!!! Well almost ,,,,, to all my girls, friends, peeps, co-workers, family members, colleagues and lurkers ,,,,,, have a SAFE and HAPPY Xmas ,,,, please DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE ,,,,,, think about your love ones!!! Eventho I'm relieved for Apolo not going to Korea ,,,,, I have to say that is pretty pathetic that Apolo and US team had to withdrawal from the world cup due to dead threats ,,,,,, I'm pretty sure the decision had to be a though one ,,,, but no competition,,,,even the Olympics are worth if you life has been threaten ,,,, for a fortunate - unfortunate decision ,,,, this entry is dedicated to Apolo and the US team for sticking together in good and bad times ,,,,, to you guys my 'heroes' that I can't wait to see skate again!!!

Marquette, MI - World Cup #2

Ok, ok ,,,,, is been almost, not quit bit, but almost 3 weeks since the WC #2 took place in MQT, MI ,,,,, and as in Calgary ,,,,, MQT was AMAZING!!!!! There are soooo many great memories ,,,, going from ,,, flying out of YYC to MQT with the USA, Chinese, Australians, Koreans and many other teams ,,,, to visiting the local WalMart 395784574778-4 a day. I've been fortunate enough to get soooo many positive outcomes over these 'crazy' trips (if you mind) ,,,, that I don't regret a second of it!!!!! The amazing friendship I've made are PRICELESS and I thank God for them!!!!! Not only getting to see my favorite short track skater ever (Apolo if that was not clear), but to admire others and learn to give them credit for their extremely dedication to the sport. As many of you ,,,, I'm so in awe with Apolo, and every WC I attend, I fall over, and over, and over for him and the sport, and as time passes by, I'm grateful of all the knowledge I've acquired due to getting involved with ST. It blows my mind every time I'm asked a question regarding ST ,,, and I just go off explaining (to the best of my knowledge) and/or talking about Apolo and the team in general. There are many memories that will take for ever to write down ,,,,, so ,,,, since you have notice that 'images' say more than words ,,,,,,,, here is a tribute to my dear friends, my short track speed skaters ,,,,, and Apolo Anton Ohno ,,,,, who inspires me every single day!!! Cheers to you that have become a part of my life, you know who you are,,, I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!! (Well almost as much as I love Apolo, but he still occupies 99.99% of my heart).
